i understand it's Dramatic but i will pay hollywood money to let the "surprise witness" trope die
#personal#that's not how the law works!!!#the prosecution can't just spring a witness on people like that#there's a lot of pretrial prep!!#and certainly no side would be caught unawares about any witnesses or evidence#there's a whole rigamoral like come on now
